About Me
I am a Sound Mixer/ Boom Operator based in Berlin. I graduated from Falmouth University with first class honours, having done a BA (Hons) in film, where I primarily focused on sound design/ location sound.
Since starting my studies I have been building up work experience, working primarily as a sound mixer and a boom operator on various productions, but have been working on my own personal/ experimental films simultaneously.
Prior to my studies I worked at the Frankfurt International School as a media assistant. I also did an internship at the DFF – Deutsches Filminstitut & Filmmuseum as an editorial assistant, which gave me an insight into the german film industry. My most recent engagements, have been as a 2nd Boom Operator on a number of TV Shows and Films for the german ZDF and ARD television networks.
On a more personal level, my passion is hand processing and experimenting with celluloid film. This is a skill which I am developing in my free time.
I have also worked as an boom operator, sound designer, composer, runner and editor on several short films and documentaries. Thanks to this experience I am well versed in the world of cinema and filmmaking and can therefore adapt to any task which I am faced with.
